I can't think of any names for this post...

Sean & Leigh Ann Touhy came to Baltimore to give a speech. People asked them question & then they signed their book. It was.... Interesting.  I loved the movie The Blind Side, but I'm not going to lie. I lost a little respect from them after they told us how things really happened.
......
My hair is a mess. My highlight are half way down my head. I called a couple places to see how much it would cost to get my hair done  here & the cheapest was 140... Ridiculous!  The first thing I'm doing when I get off the airplane in Vegas is get my hair done...
 .....

I knitted my first baby sweater. It turned out really small. I don't know any  babies that would fit into this sweater so I think I'm going to save it for my first baby boy. Don't worry, this is not an announcement.

I hope you all have a great week!

China Town

Yesterday we went to DC to have lunch with my old roommate Cara.
She works close to china town. We went to an awesome sandwich place. I don't remember the name. But I was great!
I was so happy to see her....
The End :)

I'm in my favorite city for 4 more days... I couldn't be happier.
I hope you all have a great week!

First, my doctor forgets to send my prescription to walmart. I couldn't move at work and I was crying from the pain in my little cubicle. I asked a girl  what's stronger, aspirin or Ibuprofen. She tells the owner of the company I asked her for drugs. I get in trouble. I had to sign a no drug paper because supposably I'm a drug "addict". Then, I get a call from the girl that was subleasing us her apartment this summer and tells me she's not moving out. Now, we don't have a place to live & we're moving in 2 weeks. What a DAY!

I Love Sundays

Sunday is my favorite day of the week.
I get to go to church & listen to great talks, take the sacrament & see my little Sunbeams.
I love my calling! I was so sad because I thought I was going to be released because I'm moving for the summer, but I'm not!!! Sister Brazil wants me to come back! That makes me so happy. And I'm sure my little boy Cooper is going to be happy too when I tell him next week. Today I asked him to give the opening prayer & he prayed that I could be his teacher for ever & so that he could come to my house & make popcorn. He's so darling!

I can dress up, wear my high heels, hats & big headbands.

I also love Sundays because I don't feel guilty if I just lay down all day, take naps & watch tv instead of doing laundry or cleaning the kitchen. Is the one day of the week when I can relax & do nothing!
And I can cook whatever I want! I don't have to cook healthy. It's the day when I  can cook with non-fat free butter & as many calories as I want!

I hope you all had a great Sunday!

Missing

Lately I've been thinking a lot about the people I love...
I've been thinking a lot about my friend Brittany W. I really miss her... I miss her walking into my house to get milk in the morning when she didn't have any at home and watching shows together. I also miss our beauty school pedicures. She's great. I always feel so comfortable around her, I know I can be myself around her. I can toot & pick at my nose & she would just laugh and do it too.
A year ago we went to the Ellen show. We almost died on our way there & we spent 3 days driving, but it was so fun. Friends like her are what makes my life better! I love all my friends & the people I meet every day. I went from hating Logan to loving it thanks to them. They make everything better when I'm feeling homesick or when Zach is studying and I need to get out of my house & do something. They come grocery shopping with me & try to bake. P.S- Brittany & I are the worst at baking. One time we had to make 3 batches of sugar cookies because we kept messing up, and by the time we got done it was 1:00 and didn't frost them. We ended up throwing them away.
I'm so sad Brittany & Bryson moved, but I'm happy they live only an hour away and I still get to see them.
Again, I'm thankful for my friends

Yes!!!!

We found a place in Baltimore!!!
Is a 1 bedroom appt completely furnished located in a historic building. It's 15 minutes away from JHU. The bus stop is outside the apartment. It's a mile away from downtown & 7 blocks away from the subway!
I sounds like the perfect place! I'm so happy we found it! We were getting a little stressed about finding a place to live.
I'm so excited to move!

Tennis

Today was the first time we played tennis in a while. I love tennis. I'm not that good, but I just LOVE it. I think I'm addicted to it... I have winters Logan because I can't play.
It's amazing how fast you can go out of shape. I used to be able to play for 4 hours with Terra, but today I was dying after 30 minutes. Exercise is not my thing.
It felt good to go out in the sun. I wore my tennis skirt & I wasn't cold at all. I wonder how long this gorgeous weather is going to last?
I hope you all had a great thursday! I'm so happy I don't have to work this weekend.

Hair

I'm not very photogenic, so don't make fun of this picture

I've been wanting to color my hair for a while, but I was too scared. I had a really bad hair experience in high school.
I Love it! I was so tired of my black hair.
I was at the place for 4 hours. It was a long time but so worth it. She gave me a 50 dollar deep conditioning for free! And she even offered to do my hair for free when she graduates from hair school. Yes, I went to hair school to color my hair. But only because I know Holly. She does my bangs & gives me haircuts & she graduates in less than a month so I trust her.
I'm happy with my new hair.

My Weekend

Last weekend we went to Vegas for the big Zobrist Easter party & sunrise service. We were only there for 3 days, but we had so much fun. I was going to take pictures but I was too busy talking with people & playing with my nieces and nephews.
Every time we have a Zobrist get together I realize how lucky I am to have married into this family.  I have never felt like I don't belong there & I love them all.

On Saturday we had a party & an Easter egg hunt, then Sunday we were up at 5 am, Well, I woke up at 4 because my alarm was set to Utah time. And we had the sunrise service. Richard & Angie's family did a great job, their talks were really good & Richard was so funny, he did a great job at getting our attention & making us laugh when were all tired & all we wanted was to go back to bed.

On Monday we went to pump it up to celebrate Paige & Brady's 4th birthday. It was so much fun playing with all the little kids. Zach & I were so tired from jumping for 2 hours after that. Then, we went to our favorite restaurant for lunch.

The weather was perfect! I loved feeling the sun touch my skin for the first time in months. Sadly we had to leave. We drove home Monday at 4pm. Our drive was miserable!!! We were soooo tired we had to switch every 2 to 3 hours. Then, we hit some snow storms. They were pretty bad. But the worst was when I had to drive through the canyon. As soon and we got there there was a big sign that said "Cars with tire chains & 4 wheel drive only". It was really scary, the car kept sliding & I couldn't go more than 25 miles an hour. So instead of being a 8 hour drive it was 10. But it was all worth it.

Is it supposed to be Spring? It doesn't feel like it... The weather is terrible! it has been so cold & rainy. Yesterday & today it rained mud...
Where are all the cute bright flowers, the green trees and grass?
I can't wait to go home. This is my favorite season in Vegas.
I love flowers! But they can be pretty expensive. Especially when you have to buy them every week so they look pretty in your kitchen. That's why today after work I stopped by Lee's & bought some fake flowers for 1.99 each. Then, I went to the DI & bought a cute little vase. I love the DI, you can find awesome things. Now I can look at my flowers & think of Spring...
I think I'm losing my mind. I have a TERRIBLE memory. I always put in loads of laundry in the washer & totally forget. Then, 5 days later I realize my clothes are still there, then I have to wash them again because they stink. The other night I cooked some chicken, but it was really nasty. It was all bloody & gross, so I put it in a plastic bag next to our garbage bag to take out... I totally forgot to take it out. Today when I walked in the house after work our house smelled so bad because the chicken had been sitting in our kitchen for 2 days. I had to clean and disinfect the kitchen. I'm terrible. I wouldn't be surprised if I get Alsheimer when I'm 30.

We have been looking for housing in Baltomore. It's so expensive. We are looking for a ghetto studio apartment. The cheapest I've found was 800. And it was pretty gross. It looked like a haunted house from the outside & the inside was even worse. We are trying to find a couple that's renting their app. for the summer. Because we need a furnished place. At least with a bed. I really hope we find something...

So here is another random post. I want Spring to be here. I want to wear my spring clothes.

Chandelier

I love chandeliers! My goal is to make this cute chandelier. I'm not sure how or when, but I'm going to make it.
It's so beautiful.

A very long post

This weekend was great. I got to stay up late on Friday and sleep in on Saturday. It feels good when I don't have to go to bed at 9 & my alarm doesn't go off at 5 am. I have to work every other Saturday. So the Saturdays I don't work I like to be lazy.
Yesterday Zach & I went to the temple. Lately I have been so focused on myself. Things I want to do, things I want. All I hear in my head is me, me, me.
I've been like that for months now. I forget to be thankful. I forget to look at the little things. I always want to do more.
I've lost respect for people. I used to be so concerned about pleasing others and making sure they felt loved and welcome. But lately I can care less of what they want, need or feel. I haven't felt like myself lately. I'm in a bad mood more often and more difficult to keep happy. I didn't know why.
Yesterday, when I went to the temple things just clicked. I'm have been so focused on myself that I had forgotten about the church. I haven't been reading my scriptures every day. I remember before I got married I used to read my scriptures every night. And I couldn't go to bed without reading them. I miss that feeling.
Yesterday when I was cleaning my bookshelf I found my favorite book. " The Power Of Kindness" This book was my bible last summer. I used to read it all the time. I even highlited some of my favorite things.
After reading a paragraph of this wonderful book. I wanted to curl up in bed and never leave my house. I felt so ashamed & guilty. Now I don't bother to talk to people that I don't like . I used to be be nicer to people I didn't like. I used to make an effort to try to get along with everyone.
Sitting in the temple yesterday, I looked around. Everyone was so beautiful. Dressed in white, we all look the same. We are all beautiful. I didn't want to leave. It was so peaceful.

I'm so thankful for yesterday. It really was a great day. After the temple Carol & Walt invited us to a baptism. I love baptisms. I always get a little teary eyed even if I don't know the person. It reminds me of mine. After the ceremony was done, I was talking to Carol. She told the that the kid's parents didn't support his decision and that he was hoping his mom would surprise him and come to his baptism. I remember when I too was hoping my parents would come to mine. But they never did.
I remember all the time I would have to go to church by myself and sit in the back alone. I would dream of the day I would have a husband to come with me so I wouldn't have to be alone. And now I have a wonderful husband.

This past year has been full of opportunities for Zach. He got a job here in Logan, and I cried when we left Provo. I was miserable for the first couple of months. Then, when I was loving life in Logan, he got a job in Vegas. I had to move out of my house and move to Las Vegas. I was happy to be close to family, but I was very disappointed we had to leave a house and friends I loved. Now, he wants to move again for the summer. We have to leave our house & car behind. Fit all I can in 2 suitcases and move across the country. And what do I do every time? I complain. I need to be a better wife....

So here is a public apology for all the ones I've been rude to this past couple of months. I really didn't mean to hurt you.
Thanks for reading & have a good Sunday.

My New Toy

Last week while I was doing some grocery shopping at walmart I spotted this Martha Stewart sewing machine on sale. I was so happy to find this sale because as you all know my old sewing machine broke.
I went home & asked Zach if I could buy this sewing machine. He said no.....
I usually make more than one trip to Walmart every week. I have a terrible memory and I always forget things. Anyway, every time I went to walmart I would look at the machines. And they were selling so fast!
I can earn bonuses at work depending on my phone time, attendance and more... When I got my paycheck last week I was so happy, because I made 200 dollars in bonus.
To make the story short, I bought a new sewing machine! It was the last one!!! It really was my lucky day.

R.I.P

My sewing machine broke this weekend.
I was trying to bind a quilt, when it stopped sewing. I thought it was just because the quilt was too thick, but it’s gone for good.
This makes me really sad because I love this sewing machine. It’s so old.
The saddest thing is that I have to sew all my projects by hand. Like all the things I have planned for Hudson. I better start now is I want to get them done before June.
Goodbye sweet old sewing machine. I will miss you.

Here is a picture of my messy bed. This is what it looks like now days. Zach is still sleeping when I leave for work and I make it sometimes when I have tome after work before I make dinner. Anyway, today I thought it would be a good idea to wash our sheets. I put in the load and while the washer was going I was getting dinner ready. I heard this really weird noise, I looked down and OH NO!!! my entire floor was full of water!!!! yes, my house was pretty much flooded. This is not the first time this happens. But this was by far the worst.
I wasn’t very happy, I had my day planned to make dinner, do some laundry and finish a project I’ve been working for over a month. Instead, I spent 1 and a half trying to get all the water out of my house. My feet were freezing because I wash my clothes with cold water to save money. Ha!  don’t know if that makes a difference, but it makes me feel like I’m making a difference… I opened the back door and I was sweeping all the water out. It was freezing… And then, it started raining, and then snowing…
I didn’t make dinner because by the time I got done, I had to get Zach from school and he was starving. We went to taco bell where a not very smart girl took our order. Whe spent 15 minutes telling her what we wanted. She messed up our order…
For some weird reason I woke up at 4am this morning. I’m ready for bed… What a day.

Today was a great day! I wore my new Jelly shoes.
It was so nice today, sunny and warm.
I felt very productive today. I got up a 5:00. That was hard because I couldn’t sleep last night. I think I got 5 hours of sleep. I was so tired all day. I finally went grocery shopping for the week. I usually go saturdays, but I worked last weekend so we’ve been eating out for the past 2 days. Luckly Zach & I had 2 free meals at Cafe Rio & a gift certificate to Subway.
I’m still doing yoga. Today I went to Sister Brazil’s house. She’s offered to help me get started. I love going to her house, it’s so calm and perfect. She has huge windows that overlook the mountains. It’s the perfect place to do yoga. Not like my house. I don’t really have a place for my mat. My carpet is too thick and shaggy, so I do it in the kitchen…
It was a very produtive day. If only my husband could go to bed with me tonight instead of studying….

Snow day

This was our view today. It snowed non stop. I was kinda getting used to the nicer weather. It was so nice last week. We got to see the sun for the first time in a while. I'm okay with the snow for a couple of months. But it feel like winter lasts for 10 months here. I always get nervous driving. Cache Valley people are crazy drivers. Like when it's snowin like crazy and your trying to go up the hill and they go so slow the lose momentum and the car starts going back... That happened to me once. A car was going 5 miles an hour going up a hill and started coming at me and there was 3 cars behind me. Luckily Zach was with me to help me figure out what to do. I have gotten stuck going up the hill a couple of times. Usu campus is right on top of a hill, so it kinda sucks when you have to drive up there with our little car.
Today was the perfect snow day though. I didn't work. So I catched up with all the cleaning and laundry. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day. I'm so excited!!!

Here is a picture of Zach's room. In our other house I wasn't allowed to go in his room. He even made a sign that said, "no girls allowed". But now, my closet is in his room. So I see his mess every morning. Oh, and by the way. I think this room needs some color. Don't you think?
