I bought some fabric back in November to make a quilt. I finally put it all together last week. I took a long break because my sewing machine has been giving me problems. It makes holes in my fabric & it gets all tangled... I don't know how to explain it. But when that happens I have to undo everything. & that takes forever!
Zach was so sweet the other day. He promised to buy me a Bernina when he gets a real job. I was so happy, then I realized he won't have a real job for like 4 more years.
I know this is going to sound bratty, but I want a new sewing machine. One that works. I've been looking at some quilting machines like this one .I know it's not as good as a Bernina, but it's better than what I have. Maybe I can get it for Christmas :)
Anyways, back to the quilt. Zach told me he wanted to pay to get it quilted. I called places here in Logan & in Vegas & they were all booked for at least two months.
So I'm hand quilting it. I went to the store & bought everything I needed.
I spent 8 hours today quilting & only finished 12 flowers! The quilt is pretty big. So it's going to take me a looong time to finish it. Hopefully I can have it done by fall.
