Lets go Orioles!

Jeremy Guthrie is in our ward. His wife is really sweet. She was the first person to talk to me. She has been so nice to me these three months. She always makes sure I'm not by myself during relief society. She always sits next to me. Anyways, Jeremy got us tickets for last night's game. And it was AWESOME! I take back all the bad things I have ever said about baseball. I loved it. It was so much fun and relaxing at the same time. Balls fly all over the place. A guy got hit by one right in the face. The doctors took him right at the beginning of the game. Poor guy. A ball almost hit me. I ran and screamed like the girl I am. I wasn't embarrassed because 3 other girls did the same thing... The ball hit my seat so hard. I was glad I moved. Right after that happened we were on the big screen.

It took us a little while to figure out where to go when we got there and we didn't have time to talk to Jeremy. We just thanked him for the tickets. He told us to go to the dugout  after the game to talk to him.

I felt so bad because when we went to talk to him he was bombarded by like twenty kids asking for his autograph. The whole time he was talking to us and signing balls, shirts and hats. He took a picture with us. A little girl ask to take a picture with him, but he was too busy talking to Zach lol. None of the other players stayed to talk to people. We said bye to him and a second later I realized I had forgotten to ask for his autograph, I looked back and he was gone. It was so nice of him to give us tickets and stay after the game to talk to us, even if it meant kids touching him and yelling at him for an autograph. I felt pretty special :)

Yesterday I realized I love sports. Just live sports though.. I hate watching baseball and basketball on tv. But I love going to the UNLV basketball games. I want to move to a state where they have basketball, football and baseball and get season tickets to all of them. Actually, I want to move to Vegas and get UNLV basketball season tickets, but what are the chances of us moving back to Vegas soon and having enough money to buy season tickets ... Not good, but I can dream.
