The name of this post was supposed to be "Mission Accomplished". But I changed it due to a little incident. (Keep reading)
We had new beginnings last night. My first counselor moved, I haven't gotten a new one yet & my secretary was supposed to be in labor yesterday. (she's still waiting)
It was just my second counselor & me. I stayed up till 2 am on Monday making pom poms & Amanda baked all Tuesday morning. I was so busy I didn't have time to eat All day.
We used the Relief Society room & it looked so cute! The pictures don't do justice. The girls & their parents loved it. We even had people from other wards come & take pictures. This is an overload of pictures. I promise it looked better in person.
You can't really see it, but we had a garland that went accross the room.
Each table had a tea set & two different flavors of punch powder .
Amanda had some tulle from her wedding & we put it on every other chair in each table
The girls were so happy. One of them told me it was the best night of her life.
Each girl got two pairs of handmade earrings in cute pink jars that I got from Michael's for .40 cents. I didn't take pictures...
Here comes the drama .
Zach plays basketball every Tuesday with the ward. When Amanda & I were cleaning up last night one of the young men came to me & told me Zach is hurt.
I walk into the basketball court & Zach was on the ground with all the guys were around him you could tell they were scared.
I was so scared I thought I was going to pass out. Not only had I not eaten all day, but my husband was screaming from the pain. & when he got up you could see his shoulder was out.
Zach asked his friend to take him to the ER & I followed them.
We were 5 blocks from the ER & it that was the longest drive of my life.
I hated seeing him in pain.
I didn't go in the room with him, because I didn't want to see the doctors putting the shoulder back... & i feel guilty for not going in. Luckily they put him out because his muscle was contracting so bad that it was better to put him out so the muscles were relaxed.
We got home last night at 11:30, ate some taco bell & went to bed.
So that was my day. It was stressful, awesome & scary.
